''The Little Saigon News'' ((ベトナム語:Sàigòn Nhỏ)) is a weekly publication for the Vietnamese-American community in the United States. It is based out of Orange County, California, USA. == History == Launched in 1985, The Little Saigon News was distributed in Orange County and then expanded to the rest of California and eventually other parts of the nation and Canada. Its Vietnamese name, Saigon Nho, meaning “Little Saigon”, was coined by the founder, publisher, and editor, Mrs. Hoang Duoc Thao. Mrs. Thao, a writer and business woman, aptly named the newspaper before the city of Westminster in California officially also called this part of the city, “Little Saigon” in 1987.
